Make an impact in our community by serving with your group, family, friends, or as an individual! For more information and to sign up to serve, check out the opportunities below!

Make An Impact

Gather together with your small group to clean up Sylvania-Petersburg Road from Sterns to the Stateline (2 miles). All supplies are provided. Have some lunch together after service and then head out to clean for a few hours. Maybe even deliver some notes and homemade cookies to our neighbors. This is a great impact opportunity for small groups, families, and children over age 12. Let’s be great neighbors and clean our roads.
Every Thursday we serve a hot meal here at Crossroads. We are always looking for help with shopping, cooking, visiting the pantry in Monroe for supplies, and serving the meals. This is a great impact opportunity for families, kids, youth groups, and friends. This is also great for individuals looking to meet new people in the church and get connected.
Gather your group together or come on your own, our Covered in Prayer group would be excited to have you join them! This group gathers right at Crossroads in their own sewing space upstairs. Any skill level is welcome! They will teach you! Volunteers will be able to sew lap quilts, cut out and prepare quilt kits, clean and organize fabric donations, and more!  These quilts are prayed over and given out into the community to those in need.
There are some awesome projects available for volunteers outside at the ranch! Groups or individuals are needed to cut up downed trees, organize wood piles, and clear & burn shrubbery throughout the ranch. They are working on some amazing walking trails around the property for the veterans and families to enjoy!
Get out into a local community and serve the City of Sylvania. Help line up parade participants, walk in the parade including a wreath laying in front of City Hall.
Volunteer to help plant, tend, weed, and harvest Crossroads’ very own Praise Garden. Veggies will be donated to area food banks this fall. This is a great impact opportunity for families, kids of all ages, small groups, and individuals wanting to connect with other gardeners in our church.
