Crossroads is in a unique season. Over the last two years, our church has grown in attendance by 8–10%. We also completed parking lot repairs, welcomed many new families, and raised more than $600,000 last year, with over $450,000 going directly toward our mortgage principal. That investment continues to strengthen our future and reduce long-term costs.

We believe God is doing something significant at Crossroads. Today, around 337 families are actively engaged through attending weekly worship, serving, groups, and life-changing ministry. Many of these families are newer to Crossroads, with many still taking steps toward fully calling Crossroads home.

While engagement has grown, regular giving to our operational budget has not grown at the same pace. Over the past two years, year-end giving campaigns have helped cover roughly $120,000 in operational needs each year. At the same time,  our average weekly giving has declined:

2024: $25,952/week
2025: $22,588/week
2026: $19,185/week

Our current weekly need to fully fund ministry is $27,969 - this means we are currently falling almost $9,000 behind budget every single week. By the end of 2026, this would put us more than $425,000 behind.

We have already taken many steps to reduce expenses and frozen non-essential spending. But if giving does not increase, our emergency reserves will be exhausted in the coming months.

We believe this is a defining moment for Crossroads, not because something is broken, but because something is growing. More people are engaging. More families are finding community, taking next steps, serving, and beginning to call Crossroads home. Now we have the opportunity to see that engagement become shared ownership.

At Crossroads, generosity has never been about equal gifts; it has always been about equal sacrifice and shared participation. The strength of a church is not built on a few large gifts alone. It is built when many people take part together. Right now, of our roughly 337 engaged families, around 155 families give regularly in a consistent way. Others have given occasionally, but have not yet stepped into regular financial support. That means there is room for growth, not just financially, but spiritually.

If 200 engaged families began giving regularly for the first time, or increased their giving by $25, $35, $45, $65, $75, or $100 per week, Crossroads would be in the healthiest financial position we have seen in years and our ministry needs would be fully funded. This is not about pressure. This is about participation. This is about everyone doing their part.
